Major companies pay anywhere between 70-80 thousand dollars to errect the giant wooden torii seen in the tunnels. If you can't afford that, you have the option of buying one of these cute consulation toriis to stick where you please. The consensus among the Japanese students that came with us however was that these small torii are "kawaisou" or "pitiful." I guess in the realm of torii, you either go big or go home.
