How did I buy all of my stuff in China you ask - why with Mao Money of course! Mao Money comes in all the colors of the rainbow. Chinese currency is actually called either the Yuan, Kwai, or Renminbi (depending on your mood). Anyway you say it, it spells savings in the bank! The exchange rate is roughly 8 Kwai to the dollar. The Chinese don't really use coins, so you wind up with a huge stack of one-kwai bills that aren't worth the paper they are printed on.
