The building's facade was lifted directly from the Sapporo Brewery in (where else?) the city of Sapporo.

Benjamin Whaley: Vancouver, B.C., Canada; Ben Whaley holds an honors BA in Japanese language from Stanford University and an MA in modern Japanese literature and popular culture from The University of British Columbia.
