Before leaving Kyoto Prefecture, we visited Amanohashidate in the north. "Ama" is one of Japan's three famous scenic views, along with Miyajima Island off Hiroshima, and Matsushima Bay in Miyagi Prefecture. This rotating bridge serves as the only through point for small boats.
