Famed Japanese animator / director Hayao Miyazaki visited the Edo-Tokyo Open-Air Architectural Museum for inspiration when designing sets for Spirited Away. Looking at these building fronts, it's easy to see the influence they had on the film's opening scenes.

Watch out that you don't get temped by the delicious food and turn into a pig!
