Here is a crane game (called UFO Game here in Japan) where you can win giant boxes of Kit-Kat. From green tea to coffee to melon flavored (and a hundred different types in between), Japanese people are obsessed with "breakin' of a piece" of their favorite bar. Part of the reason why Kit-Kat is the most popular chocolate candy in Japan has to do with its name. In Japanese, Kitto means "surely" or "certainly" and Katsu means "to win." Put them together and you get "Kitto Katsu" or, "You are sure to win!" Because of the dual meaning, these chocolates are given as good luck presents for a whole variety of events.
