Remind you of any Tokyo stomping lizard? This is no coincidence. When Ultraman began in 1966, Haruo Nakajima (the man inside the original Godzilla suit in the 1954 movie) was hired to bring Ultraman's monsters to life. Tsuburaya studios also used the original Godzilla and Gamera costumes for their new television series, oftentimes spray painting the suits and adding accessories to make the monsters appear different.
