Here is a playlist featuring some sample MIDI video game tunes I wrote and submitted to various game companies here in Japan. There are four in total, feel free to have a listen.
About Town:
This represents my generic plucky sounding piece. I was thinking along the lines of the many wonderful Super Mario themes while writing it.
Space Opera:
This piece was an experiment with presenting melodies in different styles. First as a ballad, second as an action theme, and finally as a boisterous march.
Evil Castle:
I adore Danny Elfman's compositions, what else can I say? I often turn to his music for inspiration. Were I 1% as talented as him, I'd be a very happy man indeed!
Sneaking:
This piece is sort of Metal Gear Solid inspired. I actually had a whole James Bond Style song planned for this one, but ended up just writing a short cue.
