Nearby the tropical greenhouse is a building which houses this ship. The "Daigo Fukuryu-maru" (Lucky Dragon No. 5) was a Japanese tuna boat. It was caught in the blast radius of the 1954 U.S. H-Bomb test at Bikini Atoll. Thus, along with the monuments at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, this little-known fishing vessel serves as stark reminder of the horrors of nuclear warfare.
